Welcome to Essex Prepared

The home of The Essex Resilience Forum

Helping create a safer & more resilient future for Essex.

Essex is a fantastic place to live and work, but like all counties, we face potential risks. These include natural and weather-related hazards, losing supply of the things we depend on every day, and malicious actions from those who wish to harm us. The Essex Resilience Forum wants to make sure that if an emergency does affect us, we are ready to respond and working together to minimise any impact on its residents.

Being aware of these risks, and making some simple preparations, can go a long way to reducing the impact on you, family, and friends when something does happen. Here we offer practical information to help you be ready for anything. We’ve also included advice businesses can use to prepare for risks.

This information is provided by Essex Resilience Forum, a partnership of over 40 organisations who plan and train together to provide the quickest and most effective response to incidents and emergencies. Our multi-agency partnership includes emergency services, your local councils, health services, utility & transport companies, Voluntary sector agencies and volunteers.
